Fire awareness.

Fire awareness.

We've recently seen a number of small fires being started in areas including Turner Avenue and Hartsholme Park in Lincoln.

While some may see this as harmless, fires can quickly spread, causing damage to green spaces, wildlife habitats and nearby property, as well as putting people at risk.

We'd like to remind parents and carers to speak with children and young people about the dangers of starting fires and the potential consequences.

If you witness anyone deliberately setting fires, call 999.

In an emergency, or if there is an immediate risk to life or property, always call 999.

Let's work together to keep our parks and neighbourhoods safe for everyone.
